The Launching Ceremony of CEES 2016 Successfully Held

On July 8 and July 9, the launching ceremony of China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES) was held in the first-floor lecture hall of Students' Innovation Practice Center in Wuhan University. 240 investigators comprised by the teachers and students from Wuhan University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology attended the ceremony. It was focused on special trainings in use of investigation sampling methods, communication skills, supervision and management, financial system, survey system and self-management etc.


On July 8, Dean Cheng Hong, Director of CEES Management Committee, made the overall deployment on the survey. Special trainings were conducted in workflow management and key management rules, use of government resources, survey system, communication methods with enterprises, emotion management, financial system and self-management etc. Professor Luo Lianfa, General Supervisor of CEES 2016, had a detailed lecture on the sampling methods and the supervision system. Then, a simple test was performed onsite and answers were explained. After a full-day training, investigators had a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of questionnaires, sampling methods, survey methods and communication skills of CEES 2016.


In the morning of July 9, Professor Albert Park, Chairman of CEES International Consultation Committee, made the keynote speech on the significance, achievements and quality of CEES, Professor Li Hongbin of Tsinghua University, who has been visiting Stanford University, send his advice and expectations thorough the video. Directors of survey areas and leaders of 38 survey teams declared their survey slogans and expressed their determination to ensure a high-quality completion of the survey. Cheng Hong made a launching report "Spare no pains with no regrets" report and handed over the flag to the survey teams of CEES 2016 together with Professor Albert Park.


During July 11 to 24, 38 survey teams will be dispatched to 40 regions in Guangdong and Hubei to conduct investigations on more than 1,000 enterprises and over 10,000 employees.
