Explore new on international cooperation

IQDS signed a long-term cooperation agreement with China Study Center of Stanford University.

Based on the agreement, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in international research, teachers and students exchange access training etc.. The move marks cooperation of two sides has entered into a new stage.


Thanks to China Employer-Employee Survey (CEES). IQDS has built up cooperative relationship with Stanford University. The CEES was jointly initiated by Prof. Cheng Hong from Wuhan University, Professor Li Hongbin from Stanford University, Professor Albert Park from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Du Yang from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences etc. With outstanding research achievement, CEES is called miracle in economic survey by Professor Xu Lixin, the chief economist of the research department of World Bank.


At present, IQDS has conducted series of academic discussions on CEES data, with many internationally-renowned professors from Stanford University, Columbia University, and editors from Journal of International Economics. Some of these research outcomes have already been applied, which successfully draws attention of the world's outstanding enterprises.


IQDS takes the construction of Double First Standard as its goal, promotes the institute internationalization, has established cooperative mechanism with top international universities, including Stanford University, Waseda University and Hong Kong University Science & Technology, and has been published papers in top journals, like Journal of Economic Perspective.


The internationalization of IQDS is also reflected in its talent construction. IQDS has formed a system of Going Out, sending out scholars abroad to do academic exchange periodically. Since the second half of 2016, IQDS have already sent out 6 teachers and students to attend the academic exchange with Stanford University. Series of initiatives have greatly promoted the internationalization of the institute.
