Genaral Introduction    

    wuhan University Plant Specimen Museum has a history of 70 years, has more then 230,000 kinds of specimens, is among the top 10 Plant Specien Museum in China. Now play an important roll in teaching, researching and science promulgation.

    Staff Founder: Professor Zhong Xinxuan(1891-1961), recieved master degree of Harvard University on year 1920. Is the plant classify science specialist. Professor Sun Xiangzhong(1908-1994), graduated from England Royal Ediburge Arboretum. He is plant classify scientist, educationalist, one of the founder of China hydrophyte science.

Other important staff in the history: Proffessor Zhou Lingyun, Li Yijian, Wang Weiqing, Cheng Jiakuan, Dai Lunying, Qian Zhonghai, Zhou Hechang.

Present working staff: Professor Guo Youhao, Wang Qingfeng, Wang Xiaofan, Huang Shuangquan, Fan Mingqing etc.
