Introduction of the Archive of Wuhan University
Archives is formed on July 1988, has the area of 1000 meter square,
has devices such as copy machine, color tv, vedio recorder, air
conditioner, camra etc. The archive has 11 kinds of archives including
research, basic construction, devices, publishing, foriegn affairs,
people, audio visual etc. Have 8 volumes, which are National Wuchang
Teacher-training School, National Wuchang Teacher-training University,
National Wuchang University, National Wuhan University, Private
Wuchang Wenhua Library Science Special School, Wuhan University.

Part of the Precious Collections
(1) Premire Mao Zedong came to university for inspection on September
1958.
(2) Zhou Enlai and Deng Yinchao meet American reporter Edward Snow
on Luojia Mountain.
(3) Marshal Ye Jianying meet the teacher and students of the Chinese
Langauge Department which were practicing on the river boat on 1974.
(4) Marshal Luo Rongheng return to mother unversity on Feburuay
1954, took photo in front of the library.
(5) Chio Shi inspect Wuhan University on November 1988.
(6) Vice chairman Dong Biwu visited Wuhan University with King of
Afghanistan on November 1964.
(7) Li Tieying inspect Wuhan University on November 1990.
(8) Guo Muoruo took photo in front of the old house on Luojia Mountian
on November 1963.
(9) Epigraph of many famous people such as Cai Yuanpei, Li Siguang,
Guo Muoruo.
(10) Famous Space Physics Scientist Professor Gui Zhiting formed
the first space ionization oberservation station on 1943.
(11) Title deed of the campus of year 1750.
(12) The proclamation of China People's Liberation Army Wuhan Millitary
Affairs Association take charge of the Nation Wuhan University.
